Background
Walaa Hozayen (Walaa G. Hozayen) received her Bachelor degree in Chemistry-Biochemistry from Cairo University, Egypt and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Faculty of Science, Beni-Suef University, Egypt. She became an associate professor in Biochemistry from 2014 until now. In 2015, she joined Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences (PSAS), Beni-Suef University as a chair of the Biotechnology and Life Sciences Department
Research interest
Her current research interests include studying toxicity and/or antioxidant effect of natural products or active constituents and their importance in diagnosis and treatment of experimental models. She is a life member of Society for Experimental Biology (SEB), and Society for Toxicology
