Beni Suef University wants to contribute effectively to solving the problems of the local community. Therefore, the Department of Social Service and Environmental Development is keen, through a number of activities and events, to provide a range of services that help advance and develop society on the one hand, and to involve students in interacting with the local community and enhancing the spirit of cooperation in order to serve their country more effectively on the other hand.
Duties of the College Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs:
1. Supervising the preparation of plans and programs that ensure achieving the college’s role in community service and environmental development.
2. Supervising the affairs of units of a special nature in the college that provide their services or some of their services to non-students.
3. Supervising college facilities that provide services to non-students.
4. Preparing vocational and technical training programs for the public.
5. Organizing conferences, scientific seminars and public lectures aimed at community service and environmental development.
6. Preparing reports and recommendations for the college’s scientific conferences regarding community service and environmental development and reporting them to the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
7. Implementing the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities, the University Council, and the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development regarding matters of community service and environmental development.
